Re: Can I take Medical Science as Optional Subject in UPSC Medical(Mains) exam being a Physiotherapy Final year student? Dear candidate, You can surely opt for MEDICAL SCIENCE as an optional subject in the Civil Services MAINS Exams conducted by the UPSC. To your knowledge,I would like you to remember that the subject will cover everything that you have studied until your graduation, and not only your graduation syllabus. So you should avoid any sort of selective study, and be severe with all the contents of this subject you have been studying since this subject was introduced in your course. Go aHead. Good Luck.
