The IFS exam is not objective type.
it is a subjective type paper.

their are six papers are to be cleared to become an IFS officer
paper 1
General English

paper 2

General knowledge

paper 3

optional subjects


after giving the optional subjects paper the every subjects have to papers.


The list of optional Subjects is provided by the UPSC. which is give below

There are no objective type papers here,only subjective papers.

ifs exam is of subjective nature.there are no objective questions.you have to answer according to word limit given.
