There is only one paper is conducted for the language part.

This paper has total 300 marks and it has qualifying nature.

So don't worry friend I am attaching the notification of civil service exam for your assistance and here you can also see the same as I mentioned

How many Language Paper do we need to appear for in UPSC Mains?

I am going to appear for next year UPSC Examination.
Optional Subject Selected : (1) Political Science (2) History

I know I have to select one Indian Language paper, & I have selected Marathi. But most of the question paper that I have found till now has Paper I & Paper II.

I am confused, how come there are 2 papers under language paper. Shouldn't there be only one?
