Hello Friend,

State level civil services exam follow the same pattern as of UPSC exam. They also have prelims, mains and interview stages. The only difference is that many states require a compulsory state language paper in the exam. Also, there may be a GS paper solely based on state related info which requires the candidates to study about that state in great detail.
