Physical Standards in CDS exam candidate should be fit in physical and medical. The Details are:

Age: Age should be between 18-27 years

Educational Qualification: Graduation from any recognized university

Physical Standard:

Height:

For Male: 157 cms for Navy and 162.5 cms for Air Force
For Female: 152 cms.

Vision Standard:

For Male : 6/6 without glass
Myopia should not be more than 3.5D
Hypermetropia should not be more than 3.5D including Astigmatism

For Female: 6/6 better eye and 6/8 worse eye
Myopia should not be more than minus 5.5 including Astogination.

1. Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes.
2. Skipping.
3. Pushups & Sit-ups : Minimum 20 each.
4. Chin ups : Minimum 08.
5. Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.

Hearing Standards

1. Speech test :Whispered hearing 610 cms. each ear.
2. Audiometric Test : Audiometric loss should not exceed + 20 db in frequencies between 250 Hz and 4000 Hz.

The candidates who have the myopia do not have not more than 3.50
The candidates who have Astigmatism do not have more than 3.50

The candidates should complete Running of 2.4 Km in 15 minutes
