Friend,
>> The examination roll number of the candidates are issued only weeks prior to the scheduled date of that particular exam, when the Admit Card is made available.
>> The roll number is not sent through mails on the e-mail ID of the candidates.Hence, you cannot collect it from there.
>> Now,the only way to retrieve your examination roll number is through the PROVISIONAL ADMIT CARD.
You need to check the official website of the UPSC to verify if the dates of provisional admit cards are available or not.
# If it is available, download it using your registration number and date of birth.
# If the dates and admit card are not available, then I doubt you have spoilt your chances.
>> Under these circumstances, the only thing you can do is to write to the officials of the UPSC,explaining them the condition you are in and asking them to issue another admit card. You will need to mention your Name,Registration Number and Date of Birth too.
>> I will recommend you to be very careful from next time.Keep your admit card secure until the complete recruitment process is over.It is a vital document.Once lost, you may have to face a lot of problems.
