forest service,as i am doing
bachelor degree from textile. . I
don't have any subject like
geograph. Forestry. Animal
husbandary etc.. If i am eligible
please suggest me subjects as
geography will be my one of the
subject as i have a keen interest
in it. But what to opt. As second

Sorry you are not eligible for Indian Forest Services Examination because you have done B.Tech in Textiles.

For Being eligible for IFS candidate must have to obtain Bachelor's Degree from any one of the following subjects.

-> Mathematics.

-> Physics.

-> Chemistry.

-> Zoology.

-> Botany.

-> Statistics.

-> Geology.

-> Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science.

-> Forest Engineering.

-> Agriculture Engineering.

Other Qualification for IFS:

# Age must be in between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation for OBC is 3 years and SC/ST is 5 years.

# General candidate can attempt four times for IFS and seven times for OBc but no limit for SC/ST.

# Indian citizen and subject of Nepal or Bhutan can apply for IFS.

But you can apply for other civil service examination like IAS,IPS,IES as per your academic qualification.

yes, sir you can apply for IFS(Indian Forest Services) Exam after completing B.Tech. for IFS you must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namelyAnimal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
Botany,
Chemistry,
Geology,
Mathematics,
Physics,
Statistics
Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in"Engineering" of any of recognized college or University.

So you need not to worry and just prepare for the exam and apply for the exam.

for IFS your age should be within 21 years to 30 years. there is also relaxation in upper age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

there is also limit of number of attempts of maximum 4 for General, 7 for OBC candidates. there is no limit of number of attempts for SC/ST candidates.

IFS exam stands for Indian Forest Services exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.

You are not Eligible for IFS exam.

To apply IFS exam;-

>>You must be passed a graduation degree from a recognized university in the following;-

Animal husbandry and veterinary science, Physics,math,chemistry,stat,zoology,biology,geolog y,

Graduation from agricultural or B.tech with Agricultural Engineering

>>Your age should be between 21-30 years. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

there is no limit for sc/st candidates
