    hello
    kindly give me the question paper of IFS in geology(both paper1&2).

    Examination Pattern for UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination

    Preliminary Examination : There will be following two papers in this stage

    General Studies - 1 Objective type paper and contains 200 marks

    CSAt - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Objective type test and contains 200 marks

    Qualifying in this preliminary examination will be mandatory for all aspirants then only they will be considered eligible to apply for mains examination of Indian Forest Service Examination and for your kind information that UPSC board does not conduct any separate prelims examination for IFoS test and use UPSC Civil Service Examination Prelims test as the preliminary for IFoS also so you will have to qualify UPSC civil service prelims examination to be eligible for mains examination of Indian Forest Service and following papers will be conducted in mains examination of IFoS Test :

    General English - 300 marks

    General Knowledge - 300 marks

    Paper III, IV, V and VI will conducted on the basis of selected subjects as optional by the candidate and you may choose only two subjects from the following list of subjects :

    Agriculture
    Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    Agriculture Engineering
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Chemical Engineering
    Civil Engineering
    Forestry
    Geology
    Mathematics
    Mechanical Engineering
    Physics
    Statistics
    Zoology

    You may not choose these following combinations of subjects :

    Agriculture and Agriculture Engineering
    Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    Agriculture and Forestry
    Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
    Any Engineering subject - Together including Agriculture Engineering
    Mathematics and Statistics

    All papers of main examination will be conducted in conventional type pattern and qualifying in each paper is compulsory

    Personality Test : Only after getting passed in written exam

    I have uploaded some previous years question papers for UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination - Geology subject so please download all papers and start preparing well for this examination

    If you have selected geology as your optional subject for two papers then you must choose either chemistry or any other relevant subject that you have completed during your graduation or post graduation and if you will have those subjects that you have already studied before then you may easily prepare well for both subjects and may score good marks in all four papers and you must know that papers will be set in english only and answers will be conventional that is why you need to use various books to know more about this subject and also study in depth of the syllabus of geology subject of your master's degree
