Dear aspirant i am really glad to see your interest in civil services even you have a good job and have completed your MBA but dear there is no problem about anything and if you have following eligibility criteria then you may apply for this exam :

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to appear for civil services prelims exams

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Dear if you are really interested to become an IAS officer then you would have to leave your current job and enter into the competition world and prepare hard for your examination and as for as my views are concerned that you should join any coaching institute for your exam and you would also be able to study in a competitive environment and may prepare well for exams and coaching institute gives the classes for one year at once if you register for coaching and some of the coaching institutes provides 2-3 years coaching in one registration so that you should join any one best which gives the best result not coaching.

If you prepare at least 15 hours everyday then dear there is nobody who could stop you to qualify the exams but study is not enough because so many candidates are there who qualify the exams but unfortunately get failed in interview process so that you have to prepare with all necessary steps that you could get the success at once and if you study concentratively then you may crack the exams in one year means both prelims and mains exams are able to be cracked in one year but you would be dedicated only for study.

I have listed some top most coaching institute for IAS exams in Hyderabad :

    1. Analog Institute for IAS coaching
    2. Gandhi IAS Study Circle
    3. Indian Civil Study Center
    4. Venkatashewara Reddy Study Circle
    5. Chandu's IAS World
    6. Indian School of IAS
    7. Shri Guru Raghvendra IAS Coaching Center

    All the best

    dear aspirant,

IAS stands for Indian Administration Services. To become an IAS officer you have to applyfor Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC every year.

for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:

    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
and you must have attained the minimum age on same date and you have not attained the upper age on similar date.

    Limit Number Of Attempts:

    >>General: 4 attempts
    >>OBC: 7 attempts
    >>SC/ST: No Limit

UPSC also provide the facility to apply for the exam online on following official link of UPSC:

    http://www.upsconline.nic.in/

Important dates of Civil Services exam in 2013:

    CSAT(Prelims):
    date of Notification:02-02-2013
last date of receipt of application:04-03-2013
    date of exam:19-05-2013

    Mains:
    date of exam:08-11-2013

List OF best institute for Civils coaching in Hyderabad:

    RC Reddy Coaching center
    Ideal Coaching center

It is upto you in how many times you will cover the syllabus. according to me 1 year is enough for preparation for CSAT and Mains. and you need to concentrate on quality of study rather than quantity.
