i did my bachelors wid pol sci as a subject....now in case of choosing a subject for upsc i am confused bcoz i guess pol sci is quite vast as compared to pub ad....can any one suggest which subject i shud choose....
can i prepare for public add in one year ?? starting from introduction.

There are plenty of candidates who qualify the Civil services Mains with Public administration as their optional subject.Actually you are right.Political science is really vast compared to public administration.You will face real difficulties in completing major portion of political science if you are starting from zero ground.Moreover the subject is not Politicalk science only.It is actually Political science and International relations.
Public administration is much easier relatively if you are starting from the scratch.Also You can have more notes and coaching classes over public administration than political science which will help you in preparation.
