and yes in the notification of examination of civil services there is no any term says that girls are not allowed for the civil services

examination.

Basic requirements:-
1. only graduate are eligible (with UGC recognized university)

2. only INDIAN citizens are allowed to give the examination.

Age requirements:-

* for general category:- 21-30 yrs.

* for obc category:- 21-33 years.

* for sc/st category:- 21 to 35 years.

* for PWD candidates:- 10 yrs relaxation.

* for central govt. employee:- 5 yrs relaxation.


Number of attempts:-

# only 4 attemts for general.

# 7 attempts for obc category.

# No restriction for sc/st category.

Girls can apply for the exam.
If a girl is full filled the eligible form then she can apply for the UPSC exam.
But some kind of exams girls cann't apply for that exams.
Like CDS etc.

Yes girls are eligible for UPSC exam expect NDA exam.

Examination where girls can apply such as -

SCRA , IES , Civil services , CDS .

For SCRA :-

Candidate must be pass 12th and also can apply in 12th.

Candidate must be under 17-21 years.

Candidate must be citizen of India.

Male/Female both candidates are eligible.

Candidate must be physically good.

Yes sure girls can apply for all UPSC examinations whether they are Civil Services or NDA or CDS or IES or any other examination conducted by UPSC.

Of course you can apply for UPSC exams.

Here below I am providing you the exams conducted by UPSC:-





All these exams are conducted by UPSC.

You can appear for all the exams stated above except one i.e, NDA.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:-

You must have completed your 10+2 exam or if you are in your 12th class then also you are eligible for the exam.

You must have Physics, chemistry and maths combination to apply for the exam.

** Only unmarried and that too only male candidates are allowed to appear for the exam.

Your age limit must be between 16.5 to 19 yrs.

Now for all other exams there is no as such restriction.
so you can give all other exams conducted by UPSC provided you fulfill the eligibility criteria.

For most of the exams you need graduation so it will be good to first complete your graduation and then apply for the exam.

You must visit regularly the official website of UPSC for notification and other detailed information.

UPSC Eligibility Criteria's:

Girls are eligible for these category service exams:

1. Indian Administrative Services : Selected through IAS exam

2. Indian Police Services : Selected through IPS exam


Educational Qualification:-
The candidate must be Complete the Bachelor degree or Engineering Degree in any stream from recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination and final year candidates also eligible for this examination but one condition you will submit the course Completion certification into the Office.

Age Limit's:
The General Aspirant age limit between 21 to 30 years
Other BC Candidate age limit between 21 to 33 years
SC and ST Candidate age limit between 21 to 35 years.

Physical Standards: The Aspirant should be medically fit for this examination

Yes,girls can apply for the various UPSC conducted exams, the exception to it is National defence academy (NDA) examination. Below are the list of examination which you can apply-

• Special class railway apprentice i.e SCRA examination.
• Civil services examination.
