IES stands for the Indian Economic services and is the administrative civil services under Grade A of the Central civil services of the executive branch of Government of India.
The eligibility criteria for the Indian economic services is discussed as below:
1.Academic qualifications:
>>Post graduation from a recognized university in
1.Economics
2.Applied economics
3.Business economics
4.Econometrics
So after master's degree in business administration with economic ,you will be eligible for the IES exams.
2.Age limitations:
>>The age limit is 21-30 years for the general category on the first january of the year.Relaxations applicable to obc and sc/st respectively in age .
3.Nationality:
>>You must be an Indian citizen.
4.Examination pattern:
1.General English:100 marks
2.General studies:100 marks
3.General Economics I:200 marks
4.General Economics II:200 marks
5.General Economics III:200 marks
6.General economics:200 marks

Eligibility for UPSC Indian Economic Service Examination
You should have a master's degree in Economic or Business Economics or Applied Economics or Econometrics from a recognized university
Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years for Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service examination and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates
Dear if you are pursuing your MBA with specialization of Economics then only you can apply for this examination but if you are pursuing your MBA and Finance as Major specialization subject and Economics as minor subject then you are not eligible to apply for this examination because UPSC board wants specialization in Economics and for your satisfaction i have uploaded completed notification and you can read entire notification and you will find out that you are not eligible to apply for this exam according to official notification and requirement

You Can apply for Indian Economic Service on the base of you graduation degree.
>> You need to give extra information about your MBA degree and Final year Student call also apply for IES.

Yes friend you can apply for the Indian Economics exam being economics graduates.
IES exam is organized by the Union Public Service Commission at national level.
This exam is conducted once in a year at national level.
To apply for the IES exam you must have the following eligibility criteria
You should be graduated from economics from recognized university or its equivalent.
You can also apply in final year of graduation.
There is no restriction of percentage to apply for the IES exam.
You must be in age of 21 to 30 years.
