    Can I get any help for my UPSC preparation in Kolkata?

    sir/ma'am
    my name is Javed ,I am a poor boy from kolkata i have no money to invest for UPSC preparation please help me

    As you say you can not able to invest money for UPSC preparation then you
    should prepare it through your self. You should follow the following things.

    1. Follow the different study material of different institute
    2. Made Easy will be best for you. Study Material from Made Easy is available
    everywhere in market.
    3. There are many online sites available from there you can prepare for it
    4. You can also download study material online
    5. IndiaBix and Prelimsmodel Test(prelimsmodeltests.com) are the some site that can help you

    You can do preparation for the examination in any corner of the country. If you are in KolKata then you can join the good institute for the preparation. Or you can do the preparation in your home also.

    First of all you have to go through the Question Pattern for which exam you want to appear. You can download and print Previous Years Question Papers at www.upsc.gov.in

    NCERT books are best for the basic knowledge because it covers full syllabus of UPSC.

    You can also practice more and more MODEL Question Papers from a sample paper by which you can experience to the Questions coming in UPSC exams.

    1) there are lot of websites from which you can get help for UPSC preparation

    www.onestopias.com
    www.civilserviceindia.com
    www.wiziq.com ( you can have lot of practice tests in this website)
    2) you can download ncert books through cbse.nic.in
    3) Postal coaching is available. some centres in Delhi give postal coaching, where you will get all materials through Post
    eg: Institutes such as vajiram & ravi, Rao's , chankaya IAS etc provide postal guidance
    4) there are good institutes in kolkata itself such as Trademark IAS academy
    5) self preparation is the best. Buy standard books and study. If you have Internet, then you can clarify your doubts
