no dear you cannot apply for ifs exam after doing graduation in commerce stream.,
the requirement is a bachelor degree with atleast one of the subjects-Animal husbandry & Veterinary science,botony,chemistry,zoology,mathematics,physi cs,statistics ang geology or bachelor degree in agriculture or forestry or engineering from a recognised university.

Dear Aspirant! To apply for Forest service posts through Union Public Service Commission "must apply for Indian Forest Service " examination. to apply for IFS examination, must complete Graduation in Science steam or Engineering courses. As you completed Graduation in Commerce course , you are not eligibly to apply. Better to prepare for Indian Administrative Service examination, which suitable for your qualification. Good Luck

IFS exam stands for Indian Forest service which is conducted by UPSC to become forest officer.

To apply IFS exam,

You must be passed a graduate degree from the following;-

---Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science

----Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Stat

----Graduation in Agricultural or forest

-----Engineering degree form a recognized University or its Equivalent

Your age should be between 21-30 years.

Age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible.

There is no percentage requirement.

If yo have dine your graduation in commerce stream then you can not apply for the IFS exam.

For IFS exam you must have a bachelor degree in any of the following streams:-

--Animal husbandry

--Forestry

--Veterinary

--Agriculture

--Agriculture Engineering

--Physics

--Chemistry

--Math

--Statistics

So you can not apply for this exam.

If you have done your gradation from Commerce field then you can not apply for the IFS exam.

Because for IFS exam You must have graduation in the following streams:-

>>Animal Husbandry

>>Veterinary Science

>>Agriculture

>>Agriculture Engineering

>>Physics

>>Math

>>Statistics

>>Forestry

>>Botany

>>Zoology


But you have not any one of the streams given above so you can not apply for the IFS exam.

no you can not go for forest officer because for this you should science graduate .
but you can go for other criteria in forest department .
hope you understand .
