Examination Pattern for Indian Forest Service Examination
Preliminary Examination - This test consist two objective type papers that are :
General Studies - 200 Marks
CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - 200 Marks
Passing in preliminary examination is mandatory for all candidates who wants to appear for main examination of Indian Forest Service exam
Both of these papers covers separate syllabus and topics where no place for chemistry in preliminary exam
Main Examination of Indian Forest Service 2013 - All papers conducted under main examination are conventional in pattern and necessary to be answered only in English Language means no place for Hindi medium examination in main exam of IFoS and papers are following conducted under Main Test
Paper I - General Knowledge/ Studies - 300 Marks
Paper II - General English Language - 300 Marks
Paper III, IV, V and VI - All these four papers are based on two optional subjects selected by the candidate and each selected optional subject covers two papers so you have to choose any two subjects from this list
