the minimum qualification for drug inspector is a degree in pharmacy from recognised university.
Age limit: 18 to 36 years.
Friend UPSC don�t conducts the exam for the drug inspector post.Hi Aspirant,
You can apply for drug inspector exam through SSC.
SSC conducts the exam for the post of drug inspector at department basis.
Eligibility for drug inspector exam
You should be graduated from Pharmacy in any discipline university.
Your age should be between 18 to 27 years.
Age relaxation as per government norms.

UPSC recruits candidates for central drug inspector posts
Qualification:
degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or medicinal science with specialization in clinical pharmacology
Experience:
18 months experience in manufacturing/testing any of the drugs mentioned in schedule 'C' of Drugs & cosmetics rules
Age limit: 30 years
If number of applicants is large there will be a written exam, otherwise candidates will be shortlisted based on their profile and called for an interview.
State public service commissions like MPSC, KPSC, BPSC etc also conduct drug inspector exam.
