Friend, according to the guidelines of UPSC, candidate with backlogs can apply for UPSC Examination if they possess the bachelor degree in any discipline. For applying to UPSC Examinations, only a bachelor degree is needed irrespective of any backlog. You can surely eligible to sit for written examination. But there is a possibility that the reason behind the backlog in graduation may be asked during UPSC Interview process. Then you have to clearify it. You have to keep himself for this question well in advance. Your answer shows your positive attitude and genuine reason.

    hi
history of backlogs wont be affecting your upsc exam anyhow because it is not at all related to your previous record. You just need to be a graduate and your age should be in between 21-30 years of age. There is no requirement of any marks in graduation for giving the upsc exams. Nobody will ask you or question you anything about your graduation

    Hello

NO HISTORY OF BACKLOGS IS NOT GOING TO EFFECT YOUR CHANCES IN ANYWAY.

As you are clearing your backlogs, then there will be no problem. There are problems if there exist a backlog in present.
Hence, you do not have to worry about previous backlogs, provided you have clear them all.
