goal of become IAS officer than you ave to give the examination of civil services because you have no other choice or no any other
way to become IAS .

upsc conducts the civil services examination every year and the notification for the same is released in the
month of January /February and the examination is held in the month of May/June.

Details about the examination
Basic requirements:-
* only graduates are eligible ( with recognized university)
* Only Indian citizens are allowed to give the examination.
Age criteria:-
*for general category:- 21-30 yrs.
* for obc category:- 21 to 33 years.
* for sc/st category:- 21-35 years.
* there is also a criteria for age relaxation to the ex-servicemen and physically handicapped aspirants of 5 years and 10 years
respectively.
No. of attempts allowed:-
# the restriction of attempts for general category: 4 attempts.

# and there is no any restriction of no of attempts for sc/st category.

There is a only to become IAS officer that is through Union Public Service Commission's " Civil Service Admission Test (CSAT).
This examination will be conducted by UPSC once in every year in the month of May/June of every year.

Yes, after or appearing Final year of any Degree from recognized University can eligible for C.S.A.T examination.
