the eligibility criteria for IAS exams are ,
21-30 years as on 1.7.2012.
Bachelor�s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the [COLOR=#990000 !important]subjects[/COLOR] namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent [COLOR=#990000 !important]qualification[/COLOR]
Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs
Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)
(No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)

it requires bachelor's degree of a recognised university with a subject of your choice.... and their is also age limit thai is from 21 -36

The IAS or ICS is considered as the head of all the other examinations conducted in India.It is one of the prestigious examinations all over the country.
ELIGIBILITY:-
Candidates who have completed their graduation from any stream are eligible for the exam.
Candidates who have completed any professional or technical studies can also apply.
There is no minimum requirement of marks for writing this test. Candidates having a pass mark can apply.
Those who are appearing or the final year of the qualifying examination can also attend the test.
Only those candidates who are citizens of India can appear for IAS and IPS.
The age limit is between 21 years to 30 years.
For OBC- 21-33 years
For SC/ST- 21-35 years
Number attempts :
4 attempts for General candidates.
7 attempts for OBC candidates.
There is no limits for SC/ST candidates.

An eligibility criterion is the same for all the students even from different streams. U just need to be a graduate. Age limit is 21 to 30 in general category, 21 to 33 in obc, and 21 to 35 in sc/st. read NCERT books thoroughly

Well IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.
It is conducted by UPSC [Union Public Service Comission]
The following are the eligible criteria for writing this exam
�� You must complete your graduation [Final year candidate are also eligible]
�� You must be an Indian.
�� Age limits : 21 - 30 years
+ Upper Age relaxation -
* OBC : 3 years
* SC & ST: 5 years.
�� Number of permissible attempt :
+ General Caste : 4
+ OBC : 7
+ SC & ST : No limit.
You can join in any coaching centre so that you can easily crack the exam.
