If u are really serious then I will suggest u to choose those optional subjects which are common in both IAS and KAS.
Since GS is same almost.Keeping in view of these things u can do better.Main focus must be on IAS.

IAS exam is of national level and KAS of state level. KAS will be easier to crack as compared to IAS. If you are prepared for KAS, you have 50% prepared yourself for IAS. Now see the proportion and you will understand how to prepare for the exams.
Prepare yourself first for KAS and you are automatically preparing yourself for IAS too.
