Hi
First a basic understanding of the frame of the CSAT exam is required
CSAT exam consists of two OBJECTIVE type papers of 200 marks with two hours duration each.
Paper 1 - general studiesPape 2 -
- Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Basic Economic Understanding, Geography
- While the dynamic part includes current affairs, GK and has no proper definition and syllabus making quite vast.
English, mathematics, reasoning, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills.
One basic misunderstanding about the prelims is the exam is on facts and figures
It is never like that
It needs proper reasoning ability and a wide spread knowledge
But never get into the idea like it is impossible to crack.
IT is DIFFICULT but NOT IMPOSSIBLE.
Important facts and figures can be simplified and represented on charts and they can arranged in the form of tables or graphs. Another thing to remember is to make short and brief notes on each topic so that the entire syllabus can be revised a day before the exam.
Conceptual clarity is needed and retention power is highly useful
The questions asked are only 10th +2 level
So proper focussing on questions and answering with proper concepts behind will crack the exam for sure!
books which are useful are
ALL the best!!
