Hello,
If you want to start prep, I would suggest to first test your calibre i.e. if you have it in you that is required to become successful in this exam. Start by reading NCERT books for
1- History - old books
2- Geography
3- Polity - Constitution
4- Science
Try to finish them in 3 months, word by word. You have to actually analyse the concepts, learn the facts and figures from it. If you are able to do it in prescribed time, you can go forward. Also, develop a habit to read atleast one good English newspaper daily. If you break the deadline by 10-15 days, it is OK but if you manage to complete only 10-20% of it, then there are serious problems.
Mind it, it is possible to attain this goal if you study atleast 12 hrs daily. But if you can't do it because of any reason, then certainly you can extend the deadline as per your conditions.
Thanks,
