    Hello there,

    >> Firstly, I would like to say you that it will be you and your will power responsible for not wasting time while in the preparation for the CSAT examinations.
    >> You must be aware of the hardships that come along with this exam, and you dare not take this exam lightly as the level of competition is very high.

    >> You can go for meditation for about 10 to 15 minutes a day. This helps you increase the concentration power.
    >> As per your distractions through the internet, its quite common these days. You have to minimize such activities, and its only you who can do so.
    >> If you still remain attached though the internet, then what you must make sure is that you use it to your benefit.
    >> You must surf the online websites of newspapers such as THE HINDU and THE TIMES OF INDIA. The PRATIYOGITA DARPAN is available online too.
    >> This will not only help you morally, but help you gain knowledge of the happenings too.

    >> However good I advice, I believe that its only you who can overcome the mental block at this level through your will power.

    all the best.

    Hello,

If you really want to become a civil service, then my first advise to you is to get rid of your internet connection and start studying from hard copies i.e. books and newspapers. You will everything that is required to become a civil servant printed on paper. If you need internet on some occasion, go to cyber cafe for that for a limited duration. also, if you feel to get some information about a topic from internet, write the topic in a diary and when you visit the internet , use that diary to browse for the required information.

If you are not able to do this, you should admit that you are an internet addict and also forget about becoming a civil servant because UPSC doesn't really need those persons who do not have any control over themselves. How will such persons control and administer to the public?

    Thanks,
