TES stands for the Technical Entry Scheme .It is conducted by the Indian army alone.

The eligibility criteria for the joining TES is as below:

>>You must have secured at least more than 75% in the physics,chemistry and mathematics of 10+2 from a recognized board.

>>Lots of candidates apply for the TES every year and it is also held twice and the examination council sets a minimum cut off depending upon the no of applications received and no of candidates it has to take for the SSB.

>>Candidates above the minimum cut off are sent the SSB letter by the post.

In this case you do not have to give any written test and that is you directly appear for the Service Selection Board.

The age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.Tentative vacancies are 85 every year.

SSB is generally held in the month of September to october and January to April.
