Dear UPSC board has issued official recruitment notification for Central Police Force - Assistant Commandant Examination and important dates for this examination are following :
Start Date for Online Application - 06-07-2013
Last Date for Online Application - 05-08-2013
Date for UPSC CPF AC Examination - 20-10-2013
If you posses a degree or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized university and your age is between 20-25 years then you can apply for this examination. Relaxation for upper age may be claimed by reserved category candidates that will be provided as per government standards - 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates
To apply for this examination, you should visit at www.upsc.gov.in then click at - UPSC Online Applications
You will see a new page where you have to follow - Online Applications of Various Examination of UPSC
A new window will be opened and you will see examination name - CPF - Central Armed Police Force - Assistant Commandants Examination - Year 2013, Date, Registration etc. and if you wants to enter directly at this page then you can use this official link - http://www.upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php
Click at Part I Registration and a new application/registration form will be opened on the webpage
Fill that online application form completely without making any mistake in application form and once provided details in application form will not be changed so be careful while filling up online application form
After completing all details you should click at Continue at the bottom of application form and you will see a new page with your registration ID and other details, so you should print that receipt immediately
Copy that registration number and click at Part II registration and upload your scanned image of photo and signature according to the required size of image and click at submit and after this you will see a new page with the message - Your Application/Registration form for the post of CPF - AC recruitment has been sent/submitted successfully then click at print and get your application from as hardcopy and keep that safe and secure for future reference with your registration ID
This examination will be held at 20th of October so you have more than 3 months to get prepared well for this examination so I urge you to start anticipation of this examination before the date of exam and get prepared well by using some good books and you can use these books :

Examination Pattern for UPSC CPF AC 2013 : There will be following two papers conducted :
Paper I - General Ability and Intelligence and Professional Skills - 150 objective type questions for 300 marks and this paper will have two sections that are :
Section A - General Ability and Intelligence - 75 questions for 150 Marks
Section B - Professional Skills - 75 questions for 150 marks
Paper II - Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension - Conventional Type paper
Mandatory Test : Physical Efficiency Test
100 Meters Race - 16 seconds for male and 18 seconds for female to complete
800 Meters Race - 3 Minutes and 45 seconds for male and 4 minutes 45 seconds for female
Long Jump - 3.5 meters (3 chances) for male and 3.0 meters (3 chances) for female
Shot Put (7.26 Kgs) 4.50 meters for male and not applicable for female candidates
If you get failed in anyone of the above mentioned tests then you will be disqualified from selection process and female candidate should not be pregnant while physical or medical tests
You should make a perfect schedule to prepare for this examination
If you start your study now then you can easily cover the entire syllabus within 2 months and next one month will only be for your practice time because once you complete then you just have to revise everything more than thrice before examination so think about the availability of time and get your preparation started with all efforts and positive views for target and try to give at least 6 hours or more time everyday to cover everything easily.
