    Information Regarding the Selection Procedure of SSC Graduate level exam?

    Respected sir could u please tell me what is selection procedure of ssc combined graduate level exam.Does ssc consider ssc CGL tier-I marks while making the final selection.

    SSC is staff selection commission
    This exam is conducted in three levels.

    Combined Graduate Level (Preliminary) Exam(objective)
    Duration-2 hours with fifty marks for each subject.
    General Intelligence & Reasoning
    General Awareness
    Numerical Aptitude
    English Comprehension
    Extra forty minutes will be given for visually handicapped candidates.

    Combined Graduate Level (Main) Examination(conventional)

    Duration-2 hours for each subject with two hundred marks.

    • Arithmetical Ability
    • English Language & Comprehension
    • Statistics
    Additional forty minutes for each subject will be given for visually handicapped candidates.

    Personality Test/Interview

    Only those who have qualified other two levels can attend this third level. The maximum marks for this level is 100 marks.

    Hello,
    If you are Graduate from any Stream you can appear in SSC examination.

    The examination Procedure is as follows:

    Tier 1: Written Examination (Objective Type Question)
    Tier 2:
    Written Examination (Objective Type Question)
    Tier 3: Personality Test /Interview/Computer Proficiency Test or Skill Test

    If you are success in all these examination then you are selected in SSC Graduate Level Examination.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR SSC GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION:-

    SSC EXAMINATION GOES ON THIS STAGES.

    1)PRELIMINARY EXAM
    2)MAIN EXAM
    3)PERSONALITY TEST


    PRELIMINARY EXAM:-

    THIS EXAM CONSISTS OF 4 PAPERS WHICH ARE AS FOLLOWS.

    -- General Intelligence & Reasoning
    -- General Awareness
    -- Numerical Aptitude
    -- English Comprehension

    The question pattern is objective in nature.
    Total 200 marks means 50 marks for each paper.
    The examination timing is 2 hours.

    MAIN EXAM:-

    The test will be conducted on following topics.

    --Arithmetical Ability
    --English Language & Comprehension
    --Statistics

    Exam duration is 2 hours.
    All questions are objective in nature.
    Total 600 marks & each paper is having 200 marks.

    INTERVIEW:-
    Total mark is 100 marks.
    candidates have to pass preliminary & main exam to attain the interview.

    1)PRELIMINARY EXAM (2 hrs)
    2)MAIN EXAM (2 hrs)
    3)PERSONALITY TEST

    English Comprehension
    IN MAIN EXAM=Arithmetical Ability
    English Language & Comprehension
    Statistics
    candidates have to pass preliminary & main exam then attain the last exam (interview).

    SSC CGL has 2 parts

    1. WRITTEN EXAM

    TIER I ( must clear to write TIER I)
    TIER II ( must clear to sit in interview)

    2. INTERVIEW

    dear sir, in this exam three parts 1)preliminary test-in which mcq asked according to subject. 2)main exam-it is conventional.3)interview_those student passed in above exams that are invited for interview.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes ssc is including the tier i exam marks also

    While making the final cut off of the ssc

    As their selection procedure :

    Tier i

    Reasoning
    Maths
    English
    GK

    Each one carry 5o marks

    And pass students will be call for the tier ii

    Tier ii

    Reasoning
    Maths

    Each carry 200 marks

    And pass students will call for the final interview

    Final Interview of 100 marks

    And then the posts will be given on the basis of the merit list

    And infact the place will be given for the posting too

    based on the marks and all teir i and tier ii and interview marks

    Including in the exams while making the final list

    DEAR FRIEND,


    The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:

    • Tier -I -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
    • Tier -II -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
    • Tier -III -- Personality Test /Interview/Computer Proficiency Test or Skill Test
    Tier-I examination will be used to screen the candidates for appearing in Tier-II examination. However, marks of such screened candidates in Tier-I will be taken into account for final ranking of candidates for selecting them for the interview/skill test and also final selection.

    TIER I

    • Tier �I exam consist of only one paper that would be common for all categories of posts and will be held in one session.: There will be four parts namely GENERAL INTELLIGENCE AND AWARENESS, GENERAL AWARENESS, NUMERICAL APTITUDE AND ENGLISH SKILLS each containing 50 marks and duration of 2 hours.
    There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.


    • Tier-II consists of three different papers/subjects and depending upon the category of posts applied for, the candidates are needed to appear in two or three papers.paper 1 is ARITHMETICAL ABILITY , paper 2: ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND COMPREHENSION, paper 3: Commerce/mathematics/statistics/economics. Each paper consists of100 questions and 200 marks . duration for each is 2 hours.

    • Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
    • Paper-III is compulsory only for those candidates who apply for the posts of Statistical Investigators Group II & Compiler.
    • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
    TIER III
    INTERVIEW

    • Personality Test/ interview will carry a maximum of 100 marks.
    • Candidates applying for Auditor, Accountant, UDCs, Tax Assistant, and Compiler are not required to appear for an interview.
    SKILL TEST

    • Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) for post of Assistant in CSS only. This test is of qualifying nature and has components of Word Processing, Spread Sheets and generation of slides.
    • Skill Test is applicable for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise and Income Tax). To get qualified, one should score Data Entry Speed Skill Test at 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.
