Dear below I have uploaded some previous years question papers for UPSC Indian Engineering Service Examination 2013 and you can use these all attached papers in your preparation and may easily get enough knowledge about the examination pattern and syllabus of this examination and can prepare well for this exam and you will find out your stream question papers which you have required for so that you must download all the question papers and start your preparation from now
UPSC board has released notification for UPSC IES examination 2013 for which you may apply between these dates
Start date for online application - 06-04-2013
Last date for online application - 06-05-2013
Date for UPSC IES Examination - 28-06-2013
And to apply for this examination you need to have a bachelor's degree in engineering in any one of the - Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university and age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates
The following examination pattern has been issued by UPSC board according to the latest notification of this examination and there will be two sections in this examination which are following as
Section I - Objective Type Papers
Paper - I - General Ability Test - English and GS - 200 marks
Paper - II - Your selected engineering subject - 200 marks
Paper III - Your selected engineering subject - 200 marks
Section II - Conventional Type Papers
Paper I - Your selected/preferred engineering specialization subject - 200 marks
Paper II - Your selected/preferred engineering specialization subject - 200 marks
You will get 2 hours for each paper in section one and you will get 3 hours for each paper in section II papers and qualifying in each paper is compulsory so that you should prepare for this exam well to score good marks
