first of all please note that Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) exam is conducted by upsc every year.

You can apply in 2 ways.
1)Online
2)Offline


For online mode:-
Visit the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in
You have to resister there & all the rules & regulations are available in the above website.

For offline mode:-

-You have to purchase the application form.
-The application forms are available in designated head post office.
-For general male candidates, the form costs Rs 100/- for online & Rs 200/- for offline mode.
-But for the female candidates & reservation category candidates, the form costs nothing.
-You can also get the form through post by sending request letter.

Dear Candidate,
-The application forms for the CPF exams are available both ONLINE AND OFFLINE.
-It costs Rs 100 online and Rs 200 Offline.
-For applying offline,you can receive the application kit from the main branch of any post office near your location.
-The registrations begin on the 27th of JULY,2012 and the last Date to apply is the 28th of AUGUST,2012.
-The exams are scheduled to be conducted on 11th November,2012.
_The duration of this Exam is 2 Hours.

-Yes.THESE EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED BY THE UPSC.So all notifications are available on ;
www.upsc.gov.in

• Date of Notification: 28th July 2012
• Last Date of Receipt of Applications: 27th August 2012
• Date of commencement of Examination: 11th November 2012
• Duration of Examination: 1 Day

CPF is an exam conducted by UPSC every year. Updated notifications are available at www.upsc.gov.in

For online form fill up, candidates must read the instruction which are available in UPSC website.
In offline mode, candidates must fill up the form with their own handwriting.
All the information to fill up the form are written in the manual.
The information written by the candidates must be correct & must match with official records.
