Yes , you are eligible for civil services exam and also for Indian Engineering services Exam.

For civil services examination candidates should be graduate and also can apply in last year of graduation.

For IES exam candidate should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of graduation.

It consists three stages of exams:
1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview

Yes you can apply for the IAS or the civil services exams conducted by the UPSC.
But at the time of the interview you have to bring all the certificates and the results of all the semester .

As the UPSC Exams consists of three stages .Prelims, mains and the Interview. It will take around one year.
So Yes you are eligible for the UPSC Exam , just you have to show your all the results during the interview.

Yes,You can definitely apply for the UPSC Exam.
But when you are selected for the interview.You need to show the documents of certificates and other certificates which you claim during the application form.

So if you are in the final semester.You can apply for the exam.

Or if you just want to know the pattern of the exam you can write exam.No problem with that.

But see that you prepare well and go for the exam .So that you could find your mistake in the exam and sort it out by next exam.

Friend, I would like to make aware that candidate in final year of graduation are fully eligible for UPSC Examination. Similarly if you are in the final year of degree level, then you are certainly eligible for UPSC Examination. And if you are in pre-final year of graduation, then you have to wait for atleast one more year to apply for UPSC Examination. As you are engineering graduate, you are ideal and suitable candidate for IES (Indian Engineering Service). For IES, required educational qualification is any engineering degree and required age limit is 21-30 years.

You can't apply for UPSC exam bcoz you are in pursuing in B.tech so firstly complete your B.Tech then apply for UPSC exams. Mostly UPSC conducts exam only base of graduation level.
So, complete your graduation then apply for UPSC exam.

You can apply for the UPSC exams only after your graduation degree completion.

Academic Eligibility for UPSC Exams

• The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification
• Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination. All such candidates who qualify to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the Main Examination.
• The UPSC may in exceptional cases treat a candidate without the foregoing requisite qualification as an eligible candidate if he / she has passed an examination conducted by other institutions, the standard of which justifies his / her admission in the opinion of the Commission.
• Candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees.
• Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination. However they must submit along with their Main Examination application, a certificate from the concerned authority of the University / Institution that they have passed the final professional medical examination. At the Interview stage they must then produce a certificate from a competent authority that they have completed (including internship) all the requirements for the award of the Medical Degree.

Restrictions on applying for the examination :

A candidate who is appointed to the Indian examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this examination.In case such a candidate is appointed to the IAS/IFS after the Preliminary Examination of Civil Services Examination, 2012 is over and he/she continues to be a member of that service, he/she shall not be eligible to appear in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2012 notwithstanding his/her having qualified in the Preliminary Examination, 2012.

Also provided that if such a candidate is appointed to IAS/IFS after the commencement of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2012 but before the result thereof and continues to be a member of that service, he/she shall not be considered for appointment to any service/post on the basis of the result of this examination viz.Civil Services Examination, 2012.

If you are in last year of graduation and you will pass the graduation before the date mentioned in the UPSC

IAS notification then you can apply for the IAS exam.

For IAS exam Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply.

The age limit for IAS exam is 21 to 30 years if you are general category. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

The exam will be of three stages :

Yes you can apply for the exam being in your 3rd year. UPSC requires that the candidate be a graduate from any recognized university. But it also allows students doing their final year to apply as by the time whole procedure is completed they will finish their graduation.

So you can apply for the exam, but by the time the main exam is conducted you must have your certificates ready as a proof that you've passed the final graduation exam.

Below is the eligibilty criteria:
Min educational qualifications is graduation pass, final year appearing candidates can also apply for the Prelims exams
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 yaers and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxation
Number of attempts- 4 for general and 7 for OBC

i WOULD SUGGEST THAT FIRST YOU COMPLETE YOUR bTECH AND THAN PREPARE FOR THSI EXAM FOR ONE YEAR AND THAN GIVE THIS EXAM
This exam requires lot of study and hard work
you will not be able to prepare for thsi exams along with your Btech

Yes you can apply for the UPSC exam because student in the final year of Graduation is allowed to fill the form but the condition is that he/she will only get the Posting after presenting the degree.

yes, you can apply for upsc examinations(civil services, nda or IES) . But you should have completed 21 years of age. You are allowed to apply and appear for preliminary examinations. When you cleared preliminary, then you are supposed to provide proof of passing your preliminary examination, either before the mains examination or interview, as is the case may be .

yes, Final year candidates can also apply for UPSC exams. UPSc conduct various exams like Civil Services Exam. IES, CDS, NDA, SCRA, CPF, CMS, IFS exam.

as you are from B.tech you can apply for following list of exams:

1. Civil Services Exam.
2. IES
3. CDS
4. CPF
5. NDA
6. SCRA

Age limit For various exams:

1. For Civil Services Exam: 21 to 30 years

2. For IES: 21 to 30 years

3. For CDS:

generaly u are not apply for upsc eexam because upsc need full garaduation for fill form but some time upsc allow candidate to fill in final year also its all depends on vaccancy opening and other . its all on upsc so before fill form u go through full advt 1 and then fill form .

The only criteria in this case is you should complete 21 years of age as on august in the year of exam.

If you are planning to appear on 2013 then you should have completed 21 years as on august 2013

The essential qualification for the UPSC examination is to pass or appear the final year examination in the Bachelor degree at any recognized University in any discipline. Yes friend ...you can aboslutely apply or attempt to UPSC exam.....because UPSC needs only graduates with 3 years degree in any stream with any aggregate from recognized university .....so now you are studying final year you can apply it ....my suggestion is first of all concentrate on your project work and your studyies after completion of those you may go through to crack the UPSC exam ....any way all the best my friend....

The minimum academic qualification and the required age criteria to appear for these exams will be different from one exam to other exam.

Yes. You are eligible to take some of the UPSC Exams after completion of your Graduation.

In order to take many of the UPSC Exams, the candidates should not require any percentage of marks in Graduation course.

Just a pass in Graduation course is enough for the candidates to be eligible for UPSC Exam.
