Dear Friend,
There is no restriction in the Number of Attempts for the National Defence Academy.

This mainly depends on the Age limit which is 16.5 to 19 years and it will be conducted twice a year as NDA-I and NDA-II.

If your age is between 16.5 to 19 years you can apply and you must be an unmarried male candidate.

Important note is that Female Candidates are not eligible for the exam.

For NDA candidate should be passed his 12th and also 12th appearing students are eligible.

Age Limit : Candidate should be under 16 1/2 -19 years.

For that exam no fixed attempts are required , Candidates can apply many times .

So, Candidates are eligible until he comes under 19 years.

The UPSC conducts the NDA examination twice in a year. There is no restriction in appearance of the examination. The age limit for the examination is within 16.5 to 19 years. NDA is a Defence Exam that is commenced by UPSC every year twice.

Number of times for which candidate can appear for NDA Exam depends on his age.

If his age is 17 (say), then he can appear for about 5-6 times.

For NDA Exam, candidates must have age between 16.5 to 19 years.

Eligibility Criteria of NDA Exam is:


>> Only Unmarried Male Candidates can apply for this exam.


>> Age of the candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years.


>> You must be 10+2 passed/appearing from any stream.


Note that, if you don't have Physics and Mathematics in 10+2, then you are allowed to apply for Army wing of NDA only.

max. 5 times .
But the requirment is that your age have to be between 16 to 19.
Then you can .
Also you can fight this exam after your graduation.
So don't worry about it and prepare it.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts in NDA.NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year.You can apply for the exam within age limit of 16.5-19years.Between the prescribed age limit,you can appear as many times you can.So the number of attempts are not fixed like in many other higher exams of UPSC

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THAT ... Because YOU CAN ATTEMPT ANY NO.OF TIMES ...

But you must follow the eligibility criteria


THERE IS " NO "AGE RELAXATION FOR THE RESERVED CANDIDATES


And you must have a minimum of 16.5 years

And maximum age is allowed up to 19 years

You must have completed 12th class from a recognized university

The candidates can appear for the NDA exam but age should be in between 16.5-19 years. In this age limit one can appear for the NDA exams.

In one year NDA exam has conducted for the two times I and NDA II exam Both these conducted in one year. This Year NDA I exam is conducted on April 14, 2013

NDA � National defence Academy.

according to UPSC rules general candidates can apply for 3 times, OBC candidates can apply 7 times and SC/ST candidates can apply unlimited times.
for apply NDA exam you should be Intermediate from recognized Board. Should be 16.5-19 yrs. and also should be citizen of India. Then candidates can apply for UPSC NDA exam.

for obc candidates 7 times & for general category 3 times.

Friend there is no limit on number of attempts for NDA & NA Exam. You can appear for the Exam as long as you satisfy the basic eligibility criteria required for the Exam.
The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
Age Limit
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.
Marital Status
The candidate should be unmarried.
Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.
Educational Qualification
For Army: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.

Hi,
There is no such restriction on the number of attempts that one can have for the NDA exam.
But you need to fulfill the criteria if you want to sit for the exam.
You can give NDA exam till the time you fulfill the following criteria-

1)12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent
with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or
a university and also Students who are appearing in the 12th class
under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can
also apply for this examination.

2)Students who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried
males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years
on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the
exam.

Hi,You can apply for the examination as many times as you can but you must satisfy the eligibility criteria.Till you are satisfying the eligibility criteria you can apply for the examination,Eligiblity Criteria Needed for NDA Examination :-You should complete 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination in any discipline from recognized University . If your interested to apply for Navy / Airforce Academy , then It's Mandatory that you have Physics as well as Mathematics subjects in 12th standard then only your eligible for Navy and Airforce Academy . if your waiting for the Results for 12th board Examination then your eligible to apply for NDA Examination , But you should qualified in NDA Examination with out fail in single subject at the time Examination .Your age should not less than 16 1/2 years and Not more than 19 years and there is no Upper age limit . NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. This is an entrance conducted by the UPSC every year for the Defense entry purposes.

As per your question, there is no such attempts limits for this exam, however the age limit is there which puts attempts limits also.

The required age limits for the NDA Exam are 16.5 to 19 years. So at maximum a person can take 3 attempts for this exam..

No of attempts of National Defense Academy Exam : for your kind information that there is no restriction or any bar to apply for NDA exam for Military services/air force/naval ship services but there is a criteria for age means your age should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19 years and if you have crossed the 19 years of age then you are not eligible to apply for this exam and you should have passed 12th class in any stream from a recognized board or institute to apply for this exam.

• Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has not stated any limits on the number of times you can appear for the National defence academy (NDA) examination.
• So, you can appear any number of times as you can.
• But you must make sure that your age limit must be in between 16.5 years to 19 years everytime you appear in this exam.
• With intermediate qualification, you must also be male and unmarried.
• This examination is conducted twice a year which is referred as NDA-I and NDA-II.

dear aspirant your question is nice and has the importance to know details before applying n.d.a(national defence academy).the rules of nda exam is framed by union public service commission and according to upsc there is no limit/no relaxation as far as age is concern .only those candidates (at par ) are eligible who are within
16 and a 1/2 years to 19 years.

Nda conduct's by upsc twice in a year now calculate maximum and minimum times attempts are available irrespective of castes****minimum 1 times maximum 5 times.on the basis of age a candidate can avail.ok

You can appear for NDA exam till your age limit exceeds. NDA is conducted twice in a year by UPSC.

The age must be between 16 � to 19 years if you want to join through NDA exam.

You have to pass a objective type paper to become eligible for SSB interview.

You have to face group tests , psychological tests and interview in SSB interview.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the objective type paper and SSB interview.

The vacancies will be field on the basis of the merit list provided you are declared medically fit by medical board.

Let me first tell you something about NDA.

National Defense Academy (NDA) allows only male candidates to apply for the NDA entrance exam. Candidates who desire to join the Army wing of the NDA must have a pass in class 12 or its equal from any subject stream. The certification must be from a recognized board or university. Those who aspire to join the Naval Wing and the Air Force must have a pass in class 12 in science.

See,you can sit in the exam as many times as you wish but make sure that you fulfill the Age Eligibility criteria.

According to the Eligibility criteria for NDA,candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

So as soon as you become above 19 years old,you'll not be able to give the exam any more!

Nda exams are conducted by upsc
it is conducted twice in a year in March and October.
Age limit-16 1/2 to 19 years.
3 year age relaxation for OBC
and 5 year age relaxation for sc/ST.
12th pass/equivalent certificate from state board or university.

It depends all of your age. Between fifteen years and eighteen years you'll be able to seem for this test. If you're student of eleventh category, you can not seem for the test. The Union Public Service Commission can hold the examination on fifteenth Apr, 2012 for admission to the military, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA. "Only mateless male candidates born not ahead of 2d January, 1994 and not later than first Gregorian calendar month, 1996 are eligible."

UPSC conduct the NDA(National Defence Academy) test. in NDA test solely mateless male willdidates can apply.

Eligibility Criteria For NDA:

1. you wish to finish or showing in twelfth with maths and physics or equivalent from recognized board or university.

So , As per the age , you can give the exam 5 times in maximum.

The NDA Exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission for the selection of candidates in the three wings of Indian Defence namely :

a) Indian Army

b) Indian Air Force

c) Naval Academy

so if the age of the candidate falls between 16.5 to 19 years then he can apply for nda as many times he is eligible for it.
only Indian males are eligible to write for nda exam.
nda is 12th based exam held twice a year.for this exam aspirant must have completed 12th with english,maths as subjects .
