For the NDA exams there is no restriction on the times you can give the exam but only the age is the restriction. One should be between the age of 16.5 and 19 years. It is conducted twice in a year.

You can apply for amount of time NDA if you are within the year limit. You should be unmarried and between the age of 17 - 19 years.

It depends all of your age. Between 15 years and 18 years you can appear for this exam. If you are student of 11th class, you cannot appear for the exam. The Union Public Service Commission will hold the examination on 15th April, 2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA. "Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible."

there is no certain number of attempts for nda exam conducted by upsc.
so if the age of the candidate falls between 16.5 to 19 years then he can apply for nda as many times he is eligible for it.
