    SCRA means Special Class Railway Apprentice.

    The written exam of SCRA is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for 4 years apprentice in Indian railways.

    Eligibility conditions:

    Educational criteria: 10+2 with first or second division in maths, physics and chemistry.

    The required age criteria is minimum 17 years and maximum 21 years.

    There is age relaxation as follows

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST.

    There are three papers of 2hrs each and of 200 marks.

    SCRA stands for the Special Class Railway Apprentice.

    This exam is organized by UPSC for the recruitment of candidates in railway department.

    To apply for the SCRA exam you should be minimum Intermediate qualified with math and physics subjects.

    You should be in age of 17 to 21 years.

    Hi,As far as SCRA exam is concern SCRA stands for Special Class Railways Apprentices. The exam is conducted by UPSC for the posts in Railways ,In 2013 it will be conducted on 20th JanuaryElegiblety criteria for SCRA:-scra exam consists 12th standard with pcm subject.age limit is 17-21 years.Candidate should be Indian citizen SCRA syllabus is that its a divine into four section which below mention:1. Reasoning Section.2. Quantity Aptitude Section.3. Current Affairs & GK.4. English

    Eligibility Required:

    Educational Qualification:

    Candidate must have passed in the First or Second division, the intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a recognized board wit Mathematics and at least one of the subject Chemistry and Physics as subject of the examination OR
    Graduate with mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and chemistry as their degree subject may also apply

    Age Limits:


    Age should be between 17-21 years
    OBC 17-24 years
    SC/ST 17-26 years
    Ex-servicemen +5 years

    So dear you can apply if you fulfill above criteria

    SCRA stands for "special class railway apprentices" was started by the Britishers in 1927 to select the intelligent Indians to assist in their railway operations after the training

    eligibility=

    age=17-21 years

    -must have completed intermediate ,have mathematics and one of these subjects=physics ,chemistry

    or

    -must be a graduate having mathematics or physics or chemistry a there subject

    -should not have any backlogs

    -should be medically fine

    -INDIAN

    SCRA EXAM PATTERN=

    SCRA exam comprises of written test having

    A)mathematics,
    B)physics,
    C)chemistry,

    D)general knowledge,
    E)English knowledge,
    F)mental ability(psychological test)..


    - the selected candidate would be called for an interview followed by medical examination

    the selected candidates would be send to rigorous training for 4 years


    SCRA EXAM NOTIFICATION=THE EXAM IS ON 20-01-2013 i.e on sunday(

    (2 test on 1 day)

    Dear FriendSCRA stands for the Special class railway apprentice examinations.It is conducted once in a year by the UPSC .In 2013 it will be conducted on 20th January .The eligibility criteria for the examination is :>>10+2 passed/appearing from a recognized board is the minimum academic qualifications required for the SCRA examinations.>>PCM must be compulsory subjects in your 10+2.>>Your age must be between 17 to 21 years.>>You must be an Indian citizen.SCRA exam pattern:
    You should cover all the related topics of physics,chemistry and mathematics to 10+2.For general knowledge you should go through good general knowledge books oF UPKAR , Arihant publications.Read daily newspapers and watch news channels.Hope the information helps you.
