In ifs examination conducted by upsc, the number of attempts are following- general- 4 attempts obc- 7 attempts sc/st- no limit pd- no limit the educational qualification required for ifs examination is- a graduation degree in any field from an ugc recognised university. the age limit for the applicants is as follows- general- 21 to 30 years obc- 21 to 33 years sc/st- 21 to 35 years pd- 21 to 40 years all the best happy learning!!!!

You might have one of the subjects like Mathematics Physics Chemistry Statistics Geology ..etc., NO. For that you give civil services examination. Going for IFS you need to appear for civil services exam conducted by UPSC. It is conducted once in a year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:- You must have completed your Graduation from a recognized University. If you have 1st or 2nd division in your graduation, Its good enough although percentage does not really matters to apply for the exam. Any stream candidates are eligible for the exam. Although there is no as such restriction for the exam. NATIONALITY: You should have Indian citizenship. AGE LIMIT IS RESTRICTED AS GIVEN BELOW:- GENERAL- 21 to 30 yrs SC/ST- 21 to 35 yrs OBC- 21 to 33 yrs PH- 21 to 40 yrs Yes sitting for the exam is limited according to category wise. The upper age limit relaxations given below. (a)The Age relaxable for SC, ST�S candidates 5 years (b)Age relax able for OBC candidates 3 years (c)Age relax able for 3 years in case of defence services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or disturbed area. The age limit for it is within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for OBC is 03 years whereas for SC/ST is 05 years.
