    Every candidate appearing at the Examination shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.
    Eligibility Criteria :

    1.Age limit

    21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs .


    2.Number of Attempts

    Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.

    3.Restrictions on applying for the examination:

    A candidate who is appointed to the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign Service on the results of an earlier examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this examination.

    Eligibility for IFS:-

    --Candidates applying for this exam should not have age less than 21 years. Those candidates, who possess age more than 30 years are also not eligible for the specified examination.

    --The upper age limit is relaxable by few years for SC/ST/OBC and some other certain categories candidates.

    --Candidates should also meets with the adequate physical standards.

    --Bachelor�s degree from any recognized university with atleast one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and veterinary Science, Botony, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, is required for applying in the specified examination.

    --Candidates, who possess bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering are also eligible to apply.

    Number of attempts:-

    The maximum number of attempts permissinle to the candidates are as follows:

    General category candidates: Only 4 attempts are permissible.

    SC/ST category candidates: No limits in number of attempts.

    OBC category candidates: Only 7 attempts are permissible.

    A general category candidate can appear 4 times,OBC 7 times ,sc/st unlimited for IFS.One must be B.Tech or B.Sc from a recognized university.

    For any UPSC exam Max no of attempts is 4 only.
    Basic eligibility required for IFS:
    -graduation in any of the Science subjects, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Geology, Maths or Statistics, Agriculture or Forestry
    -Min age-21 years & max age -30 years
    -citizen of India

    this exam is conducted in every year by UPSC.
    The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows..

    ELIGIBILITY------>

    1)candidates must have their bachelor's degree in agriculture ,animal husbandry ,veterinary science,botany,geology,zoology, chemistry, forestry or engineering can also apply.

    2)The age of the candidate must be 21 years and must not attain the age of 30 years.

    3)The age relaxation will be given for sc/st 5 years

    4)the age relaxation will be given for OBC candidate 3 years.

    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

    general:------>4 times
    SC/ST :------->no limits
    OBC:---------->7 times

    For the ifs post dear you have to cse exam

    As the cse includes posts like IAS And IPS and IFS

    The age limits for the exam:

    21-30 and relaxation for sc.st 5 and obc 3 and for ph 10 year

    The attempts allow for the upsc exam is :

    For the general is 4 times

    For the obc candidates the person is allow to give the exam 7 times

    And for the sc/st the attempts allowed is unlimited

    Means they can give the exam as many times they want to give

    for IFS exam you must complete your graduation. you can also apply for IFS exam in your final year.

    limit number of attempts for candidates can sit for IFS exam

    General Category : 4 attempts and age limit 21 years to 30 years.

    OBC Category : 7 attempts and age limit 21 years to 33 years.

    SC/ST Category : No limit of attempts and age limit 21 years to 35 years.

    -The Indian Forest Service(IFS) exams are conducted in the month of July.
    The application forms of the exams are released on the official website of the UPSC in the month of February or March.
    -While the number of attempts are FOUR for General Category candidates,it is raised to SEVEN for OBC candidates and UNLIMITED for SC/ST candidates.
    -The complete ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for
    the IFS exams are mentioned below-
    [A] NATIONALITY
    You must be a citizen of India,

    Dear IFS stands for Indian Foreign Service which comes under the civil services exams and the selection for this post is also done on the basis of the rankings in IAS exam of the interview qualified candidates and you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC category candidates and if you are pursuing final year of your degree then also you can apply for this exam.

    Top 50 ranking candidates in IAS exam will get the post of Indian Foreign Services

    ifs exam conduct by upsc.
    age criteria for ifs exam
    general category age 21 to 30 year . they give 4 time ifs exam .
    obc category age 21 to 33 year. they give 7 time ifs exam .
    sc/st category age 21 to 35 year. they have no limit to give ifs exam .

    The IFS (Indian Forest Service) is conducted by the UPSC every year. The basic qualification for the examination is to pass the Bachelor degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology from any recognized university. The age limit for it is within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for OBC is 03 years whereas for SC/ST is 05 years.     2. Candidate should be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university.

    Going for IFS you need to appear for civil services exam conducted by UPSC.

    It is conducted once in a year.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-


    You must have completed your Graduation from a recognized University.

    If you have 1st or 2nd division in your graduation, Its good enough although percentage does not really matters to apply for the exam.

    Any stream candidates are eligible for the exam. Although there is no as such restriction for the exam.

    NATIONALITY:

    AGE LIMIT IS RESTRICTED AS GIVEN BELOW:-

    GENERAL- 21 to 30 yrs

    SC/ST- 21 to 35 yrs

    OBC- 21 to 33 yrs

    PH- 21 to 40 yrs

    Yes sitting for the exam is limited according to category wise.

    If you belong to general category you can sit 4 times for the exam.

    Belonging to OBC category you can sit for 7 times.

    SC/ST category has no restrictions.

    Friend, number of attempts permitted for IFS Examination are:# 04 attempts for General category.# 07 attempts for OBC category.# No any restriction on number of attempts for SC / ST category.For IFS Examination, candidate must be graduate in Botany or Zoology or Chemistry or Mathematics or Statistics or Animal Husbandary or Agriculture or Forestry.

    Dear Friend,

    IFS stands for Indian Forest services . IFS comes under civil services .

    For that you give civil services examination.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    >> Candidate must be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university
    and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    >> Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

    >> Candidate must be citizen of India.

    >> Male/Female both are eligible.

    >> General candidate has 4 attempts to apply where as BC candidate has 7 attempts to apply and SC/ST candidates has no limit to apply for same.

    This I.F.S Exam is conducted by the " UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION "


    I.F.S Exam is conducted in once a Year


    You must be Physically Fit ... and medically According to the Physical Standards

    You must have a Bachelor Degree from a Recognized university


    The Stream may be of any stream ..

    You might have one of the subjects like


    Mathematics

    Physics

    Chemistry

    Statistics

    Geology

    ..etc.,



    NO. OF ATTEMPTS ::



    For GENERAL CANDIDATES :: 4 ATTEMPTS


    For OBC CANDIDATES :: 7 ATTEMPTS


    For SC / ST CANDIDATES :: THERE IS NO RESTRICTION ...

    In ifs examination conducted by upsc, the number of attempts are following-
    general- 4 attempts
    obc- 7 attempts
    sc/st- no limit
    pd- no limit
    the educational qualification required for ifs examination is- a graduation degree in any field from an ugc recognised university.
    the age limit for the applicants is as follows-
    general- 21 to 30 years
    obc- 21 to 33 years
    sc/st- 21 to 35 years
    pd- 21 to 40 years
