educational criteria
the candidate must be a passed graduate from any recognized board or university
final year students can also apply.

Dear Aspirant!
Yes, you are eligible to apply for Preliminary examinations - 2013 , being a Final year in Graduation course.
To apply for Preliminary examinations minimum age required is 21 years .

###My suggestion is to better to apply for Preliminary examinations, after completion of Preparation of preliminary examinations because there will a limits of attempts depends on category wise.

Attempts to be made for different categories are:
General-04 attempts only.
OBC-07 attempts only.
SC/ST- no limit.

Yes definitely you are eligible for Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2013 while studying in final year since final year candidates are eligible for the Exam.
The other basic eligibility criteria to appear for Civil Services Examination is as follows:
The General age limit is 21-30 yrs.
The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4
The candidate should be Indian

Yes a final year candidate can apply for IAS exam so you can apply.
firstly check your eligibility criteria and emnsure that you are eligible or not.
Eligibility criteria for IAS exam is
candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream. marks or percentage doesn't matter.
Age Limit-
General 21 to 30
OBC 21 to 33
SC/ST 21 to 35
Nationality- must be Indian
No. of attempts
General- 4
OBC- 7
SC/ST- no limit

yes you are eligible for the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) examination. You check out the following general eligibility criteria and condition:

Educational Qualification: You must gradate from any recognized university or equivalent degree.
Age Limit: 21 years to 30 years. (age relaxation for reserve category candidates)
Nationality: Indian
No of attempts: General category candidates must attempts maximum of 4. OBC-7 and SC/ST no limits

If your graduation just get completes in april or march then you can apply for the exam

Basically the general crieteria is the candidate should be graduate i.e. he/she have must completed his/her degree then only the candidate is eligible for it.

Ofcourse you are eligible to appear for UPSC Civil Services exam(CSE) being in final year of graduation.
You can appear in the UPSC Prelims/CSAT Exam as final year appeared/appearing candidate.
If you are selected in the prelims exam you may be asked to produce the original certificates at a
later stage say Mains Exam/Interviews.

Yes dear of course you are eligible to apply for civil prelim exam as you are a final year student of graduation.
Any final year student of graduation is eligible for civil prelim exam.he have to present degree in the mains exam.

Hello friend,

You are eligible for civil service exam because a graduate or final year student can apply for civil service exam but your age should lies between 21 to 30 years (3 years extension for OBC candidate and 5 year for SC/ST candidate)

Yes,why not final year bachelor's degree candidates are allowed to appear for the civil services examinations.Just you need to fulfill the age criteria that is as below:

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the upper age limit depends upon the category to which you belong:

General:30 years

OBC:33 years

SC/ST: 35 years


>>You must be an Indian citizen.

The no of attempts for the candidates belonging to different category is :

General:4

OBC:7

SC/ST: no limit

The examination consists of three stages:

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Civil Service Exam 2013 :

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Dear you are eligible to apply for this exam and you can apply for this between these following dates :

Start date for online application - 02-02-2013

Last date for online application - 04-03-2013

Date for UPSC civil service prelims - 19-05-2013

Dear if you want to apply for prelims then you can apply but your final year result must be declared before the mains exam because if you qualify in the prelims exam then you would have to apply for mains exam and in mains exam you would have to enter your actual percentage marks so that you can apply for this exam

No, dear you are not eligible now after completion your graduation you can apply for UPSC Prelims Exam. Pursuing candidates are not eligible for it.
