Yes you can write IAS exam direct after you complete your graduation and moreover you don't need to take any other exam for it.

The eligiblty criteria is just you hold graduation degree your marks or %age in degree are not asked for and the age limit are:

1.for general 21-30 yrs

2.for obc 21-33 yrs

3.for sc/st 21-35 yrs..

To become an IAS officer you would be crack Civil Service Exam

After Graduation you would apply for this exam

Your age should be
If you are General then 21-30 year
If you are OBC then 21-33 year
If you are SC/ST then 21-35 year

There is no percentage required in Graduation

Only pass mark candidate can also apply

So you can apply for this examination after completing your Graduation

without clearing the UPSC exam, you cannot enter Civil services. Actually, UPSC exam will pave the way to make you an IAS.

The criteria for appearing in Civil Services Exam is :
1. Nationality : Indian
2. Academic qualification : Graduate in any stream from any recognized university.
3. Age limits : 21-30 (OPEN), 21-33 (OBC), 21-35(sc/st).
4. Attempts : OPEN-4 , OBC-7 ,SC/ST-9 .

No such percentage criteria is given for applying for Civil Services Exam.

IAS (Indian Administrative Service) exam is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC every year.

Educational qualification required:
The candidate must posses a bachelor degree in any dicipline from any recognized University of India.
The final year student of the degree course is also apply for the exam.
so,there is no specific percentage required for the exam.The graduates are eligible to apply for the exam.
The IAS exams conducted by UPSC consist of 3 stages.
1.Preliminary:-
The exam usually conducted in May.The exam based on 2 compulsory paper of 200 marks each & of 2 hrs. duration each.The questions are of objective types.
2.Main exam(Written):-
candidates are allow to choose 2 optional subjects from the following subject.
3.The final Round is Interview to test their Mental ability,Intellectual Qualities & Personality.
Then the candidate who have secured good rank go for training .After completion of training they are posted as per recruitment of the vacancies of central/state govt.

Yes absolutely you can directly write IAS Exam after graduation. Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
UPSC doesn't consider marks so don't worry about it, you just have to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria required for the Exam.

The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Final year degree students are also eligible
The age limit is 21-30 yrs
The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4
The candidate should be Indian

There is no required grade or %age set to become eligible for the exam.All you need is you hold graduate degree and your age lie between :

1.21-30 yrs for General category
2.21-33 yrs for OBC category
3.21-35 yrs for SC/ST category..


No other exam is needed to be cleared by the candidate.......

IAS stands for the Indian administrative services.

yes,you are eligible to give the Civil services examinations aafter your graduation as bachelor's degree in any stream is the minimum requirement.

Even you can apply in the final year of your graduation.

My friend , yes you can directly appear in the civil services examination if you have completed your graduation and also fulfill the other required qualifications for the exam.

* There is no percentage bar that you have to get in graduation , only thing that is required is you must hold a bachelors degree from any recognized college/university.

Other Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services Exam are :

* Your age must lie in between 21-30 years.

Yes, you can write IAS exam immediately after your graduation. The mark scored in the graduation doesnt matter but the needed criteria is your degree( graduation)

First, you need to know what is UPSC.

UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE) is one of them.

CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.

I really do appreciate your dream of becoming IAS officer!

To become an IAS officer, you need to go through Civil Service Exam(CSE).

There are two phases in CSE.

They are

1)Civil Service Aptitude Test(CSAT) or Preliminary Exam

2) Civil Service Main Exam

Note: You must know that those who've qualified CSAT are only eligible for the Civil Service Main Exam.

Qualification for CSE:

Educational: Graduation

Age: General: 21-30yrs, OBC: 21-33yrs, SC/ST : 21-35yrs

Note: there is a considerable age relaxation for special category like Blind, Deaf-Mute, etc.

Number of attempts: General : 4, OBC: 7, SC/ST: No limit

Till now, there's no percentage cut-off for the UPSC exams

You can give an attempt while you're in your final year of graduation.

Yes you can write the exam for IAS Post after your graduation

But you need to write the civil services exam for the post

Here is the Criteria for the exam:

Age Limit: The candidates age must be between 21-30

And their will be relaxation given to the obc of 3 years

And for the sc.st 5 years and for the ph 10 years

Educational Qualification:The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized

Indian university Or a final year student can also write the exam

And the number of attempts allowed for the exam:

For the general category their is 4 attempts allowed

For the obc category their is 7 attempts allowed

And for the sc/st category their is unlimited attempts allowed

And as you said how many % of marks is required to appear in the exam

The answer is their is specific % of marks required to appear in the exam

Just need to be pass in graduation

The UPSC conducts the open competitive examination for IAS, IPS, IFS etc. as a CSAT examination. The advertisement is published every year at the end of December or the the first week of January. The examination will be held in May or June of the year. There is three stages of examination i.e. preliminary, main and Interview. The essential qualification is bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized university.There is no restriction of percentage in the qualifying examination. The age limit for it is 21-30 years. The upper age limit is 3 years to OBC and 5years to SC/ST candidates. Best of Luck
