The UPSC conducts the open competitive examination for IAS, IPS, IFS etc. as a CSAT examination. The advertisement is published every year at the end of December or the the first week of January. The examination will be held in May or June of the year. There is three stages of examination i.e. preliminary, main and Interview. The essential qualification is bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized university.There is no restriction of percentage in the qualifying examination. The age limit for it is 21-30 years. The upper age limit is 3 years to OBC and 5years to SC/ST candidates. Best of Luck

UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE) is one of them.
CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.

To become an IAS officer, you need to go through Civil Service Exam(CSE).
There are two phases in CSE.
They are
1)Civil Service Aptitude Test(CSAT) or Preliminary Exam

Qualification for CSE:
Educational: Graduation

Yes, you can write IAS exam immediately after your graduation. The mark scored in the graduation doesnt matter but the needed criteria is your degree( graduation)

1.21-30 yrs for General category
