I am sorry to say but you are not eligible for giving the indian engineering services examination at the age of 20 years because the minimum age that has been set up by the upsc for giving the IES exam is 21 years.
The maximum age is different for the different category candidates,
The age limit for the general category
21-30 years
For obc candidates 21-33 years
For sc/st candidates 21-35 years

Sorry to say that this time you can not apply for the exam, but next year you can apply for the exam.

Eligibility:

*The candidate must be the Engineering graduate.

*The candidate must be the citizen of India.

*Age limit is

1) General:21-30 years

2)OBC:21-33 years

3)SC/ST:21-35 years

Sorry, at the age 20 years , you are not eligible for Indian Engineering Services Exam.

For that exam you should be at least 21 years old.

Indian Engineering Services Exam is conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

For that exam you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

Your age must be under 21-30 years.

You must be citizen of India.

sorry to say that you are not eligible for IES exam until you attain the age of 21 yrs.

The eligibility criteria for IES exam is :

>> Age limit 21 yrs to 30 yrs

>> Candidate should have a degree of graduation in engineering .

>> candidate should be citizen of India.

>> upper age relaxation is for SC/ST (5 yrs) and OBC (3 yrs).

>> No. of attempts : General (4), OBC (7), and SC/ST (no limits).

I am sorry to say that you are not allowed to appear in IES exam at the age of 20 years Because minnimum age at which the candidate is eligible to appear in IES exam is 21 .

Age Limit for IES:

>> Candidate must be 21-30 for General
21-33 for OBC
21-35 for SC/ST

so you have to wait 1 more year & your Graduation too.

I am sorry to say you that you are not eligible to appear for Indian Engineering services(IES) examination because you age is not yet 21 years.

Minimum age to qualify for IES is 21 years.

AGE QUALIFICATION FOR IES:

For Generals:

Minimum Age 21 years

Maximum- 30 years.

For OBC:

Minimum age is 21 years

Maximum Age- 33 years.

For SC/ST:

Minimum Age is 21 years

Maximum Age- 35 years.

For Physically

Disables Minimum Age- 21 years

Maximum Age is- 40 years.

# All ages must be calculated as on 1st August of the year of examination.

OTHER QUALIFICATION FOR IES:

-> Candidate have to obtain four years B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized University in any Discipline.Final year B.E/B.Tech students are also eligible for IES

-> Only Indian citizen,subject of Nepal or Bhutan can apply for IES.

-> Maximum number of attempts in IES for general is four,OBC and Physically Handicapped is seven but no restriction for SC/ST

RECRUITMENT PROCESS IN IES:

>> Engineering Services Examination.

>> Interview.

>> Medical Test.

As per age qualification you will be eligible for IES in next year

Hai,No friend you are not eligible for IES exam, because the minimum age limit is 21 years so you have to wait for 1 year.The candidate who are completed their BE/B.Tech engineering from a recognized university are only eligible.You must be an Indian origin.The age limits are 21 to 30years.Best of luck.

You can not apply for the IES exam if your age is 20 years.

Because the age limit for the IES exam is 21-30 years.

You must have a bachelor degree in engineering from a recognized university of India.

IES exam is conducted by the UPSC for which the minimum age is 21 years.

So you can apply in the next year.

I.E.S --- INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES

This exam is conducted by the U.P.S.C

And it is only for the below stream candidates

Electrical

Mechanical

ETE

Civil ..etc.,


And you must have a minimum of GRADUATION from a recognized university



" I am Really Regret to say this ... you are not eligible to apply for the exam ... since you are still in 20 years "


And Minimum age must be 21 years

So you can apply for it next year

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Indian Engineering Service Examination

A bachelor's degree in engineering in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized university

Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Dear according to your current mentioned age you have completed your - 18 years, 10 months of your age and you have not completed your 20 years of age too so that you are not eligible to apply for engineering services examination but if you are interested then you should go to back and prepare for this examination till your 21 years of age gets completed

AS your age is less than 21 so now you are not eligible you have to wait for while to opt for exam .

NO YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE 2014 IES EXAMS.

The minimum age required to be applicable for the IES exams for all sorts of categories is 21 years.

Now it is important that you must have attended the age of 21 years before 1st August in the exam year,that the year in which you are applying for the exam,it is necessary to attend the age of 21 years before 1st August in the exam year.

Your date of birth is 25/2/1994 and will be of 21 years on 25/2/2015 and then you will be applicable for the 2015 IES exams,but not for the 2014 IES exams.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for IES(Indian Engineering Services) exam at the age of 20 years. To appear for exam you must have attained the age of 21 years on the 1st January of the year of exam.

but according to me you must utilize that time for the preparation of exam.

for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:

>>Engineering degree in any stream
>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 January of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Sorry friend but you have to wait for one more year to appear for IES Exam as the eligibility criteria says that a candidate should be atleast 21 yrs to appear for the Exam.
IES stands for Indian Engineering Services. IES exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates in different services such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics engineering.

The Other eligibility criteria for IES exam are as follows:
The candidate should have degree in engineering from university recognized by UGC.
The candidate should be Indian
Maximum number of attempts permitted for General category is 4.

No you cannot appear for IES Exam at the age 20yrs as you are under age to apply for it.
You should complete 21yrs on the 1st August of the year of exam to be eligible to apply.
For the time being you should concentrate on preparing for IES Exams as it is tough & seats are limited.
IES is conducted by UPSC every year to make recruitments to 4 Categories.

The criteria for the IES exam is below :

=> one must be B.E./B.Tech from any recognized university .

=> A final year students are also eligible for the exam .

=> Age must be in below limit : ( As on 1st august 2014)
21-30 for general cast
21-33 for obc cast
21-35 for sc/st cast
21-35 for ex-serviceman
21-40 for PWD

As per the above criteria the minimum age should be 21 as on or before 1st august and you will become 21 years old in 2014 before the august .

So that you are eligible for the exam .

IES exam conducts under three branches names
Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics & Telecommunication

One have to apply any one of the above branch .

Exam consists written exam followed by interview together .

So you have still one more year for preparing for the exam .

>>for your conventional papers you have to select the papers from the civil ,mechanical,electrical and electronics and communication engineering only.

The age limit for this exam is :

OBC:21-33 years

SC/ST:21-35 years

So sorry friend ,you will have to wait for one more year in order to give this exam.Till then donot worry,prepare for the exam .

The examination pattern is :

For general there are four attempts,for obc it is seven and for sc/st there is no limit.
