For civil services exam there are many requirements which are such as-

>> You should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in
last year of graduation.

>> Your age must be under 21-30 years.

>> You must be citizen of India.

>> Male/Female both are eligible.

Selection Procedure :-

• Preliminary Exam
• Main Exam
• Interview

to crack civil services is very hard. you must do more hard work to pass civil service exam.

Yes!! you can prepare for it if you wisely prepare your time table as you need to daily prepare for the Exam ...You cannot miss your studies even for a single day...

You need to concentrate on your studies also..Stay Focused and you wil be there..

BEFORE APPLYING MAKE SURE THAT YOU FULFILL ALL THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA


The minimum age must be 21 years

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

There will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

You must have a minimum Graduation


If all of them are fine ... then apply for it

Yes you can prepare for the civil service exam.it is upto you how you maintain the schedule for preparing for the exam if in case you got the seat in any one of the civil services,then you need to choose any one either
1)current job
2)join civil service job.
i think you can go with your profession and join in civil service as per you branch.it will make your work much more easy...

Yes you can do your study and prepare for civil services while doing job.
You should make a proper time table and follow that.you should take some interesting subjects which should build your interest.
You should follow daily newspaper to be aware of current affairs.

Well, you are the best judge for this question. You know what type of a student you are. If you are highly intelligent and you think that you can manage your studies well along with extra activities; no problem. You can study for civils simultaneously with the job.

But if you are above or below average, I think you should concentrate only on one thing. It has been observed many a times that people involve themselves in multiple works and fail in all tasks.

Now, judge yourself on the aforementioned points & see if you can manage both simultaneously.
