The minimum required age for the UPSC Civil Service exam is 21 to 30 years.

Now you didn�t complete this age so you need to wait to apply for this exam.

IPS

IRS

Eligibility conditions

You should be minimum graduation qualified in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

You can also apply in final year of graduation.

There is no restriction of percentage in graduation.

Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is also available for the reserve categories.

You must be the citizen of India.

If you fulfill the age criteria at the time of applying for the exam then you can apply for it that is your age should be 21 yrs at the time of filling the application form and your minimum qualification should be graduation from recognized university.

there is nothing to worry about your age my friend as your age is between the allowed age limit by UPSC i.e 21-30. so i would say your application will surely be considered.

Hi dear
The age limits for any exam are set keeping a reference date. That means you should be within the age limit on that fixed date.

With respect to the Civil Services Exam the reference date is first august of the year of Exam.

So to be eligible for the Exam you should attain age of 21 years on the 1st august of the Exam year.

If you fulfill the require age criteria at the time of filling the application form then you are eligible for the exam . But you should also fulfill the other require criteria also like . you should done your graduation from any recognized university . if you are in the final year of your graduation then also you can eligible for the exam but before the main examyou should done your graduation . The age limit for the exam is belowFor general cast the age is between 21-30 For obc the age is between 21-33For sc/St/Ex serviceman the age limit is between 21-35For physically handicapped the age is between 21-40 No of attempts one can give For general maximum 4for obc maximum 7 for sc/st there are no limit So if you are eligible then start the preparation for the exam . if your age becomes 21 years on 1 august of this year then you can apply for UPSC exam this year.
else you have to apply for UPSC in next year.

Dont worry apply for the exams but before email your problem to the UPSC,they are good people they will consider you because they are considerate people and your candidature will be given to you
