IPS Stands for Indian Police service this exam is conducted by Union public Service Commission Under Civil Service and this exam is conducted by Every year if you apply this examination you should be have the Below Eligibility Criteria's.

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Service Exam:-

-->The Candidate Should be complete or doing in final year students are eligible to apply this examination and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination.

-->The Candidate age limit should between 21 to 30 years and upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and OBC Candidates and also Handicapped Candidates.

-->The Candidate should be citizen of india.

-->Both Male And Female Candidates are eligible for this examination.

-->The Candidate should be physically fit for this examination.

-->Minimum Height for Men 165 cm and for Women 150cm.

-->Minimum Chest for Men 84 cm and for women 75cm


Exam Pattern:-

-->Preliminary Exam
-->Main Exam
-->Personal Interview

if you clear the above three stages then you going to Training...

If you want to a IPS officer then you have to be eligible for this.
The eligiblty is for this UPSC exam.

general 21 to 30
OBC 21 to 33
SC/st 21 to 35
Attempt
general 4 times.
obc 7 times.
sc/st no limit
study.
graduation with 60% marks.
phy.
fit.
eye sight
6/6 to 6/9.
citizen
indian.

hi,

IPS is known as "indian police service"...

that is comes under UPSC board and in Civil services.

For passed it you have to follow 3 round
1. prelims

2. mains

3. personal interview...

and if you passed this 3 round then they are send you for training and that is free may be it is in dehradoon.

and for that you have to be in age limit and you educational qualification creditably .

*You have done your graduation in any stream from recognized university.

*age limit 21-30 yrs..
