IAS stands for Indian Administrative officer . UPSC conduct the IAS entrance exam once in a year through civil services.<br>

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .

The minimum educational qualifications required is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.The Candidate age should be in between 21 years to 30 years . Age Relaxation for OBC candidate is 3 years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

CSAT Exam Contains Two Papers, Each of 200 Marks.

And all Question are of Objective type.

Paper-I General Studies and Current Affairs

Paper-II General Aptitude

For General Category Combined score of Both Paper is must be 50% to get Select for Mains Exam.

>> CSAT Exam in Taken to Select Candidates for Mains Exam.

>> You can give Following times Attempt according to Category:

General Category: 4 Attempts

OBC: 7 Attempts

PH: 7 Attempts

SC/ST: No Limits

Age Limit for UPSC exam is 21-30 years for General Category Candidates.

For becoming an IAS officer, you need to fulfill the certain criteria.
Your age should be in between 21-30 years and you should be a graduate from a recognized indian university in any stream.
If you fulfill these requirements, then you can apply for the IAS exam. The pattern of the IAS Exam is such that it has three phases
First, the prilims which is of objective type
The second stage is the mains, which is of conventional type
And the final step is the interview. If you clear the interview, then you will be able to become an IAS.

To become IAS office you must have graduation degree from govt. recognized university of INDIA.

Indian citizenship is also compulsory. Your age should be in between 21-30 years for open category.
