*zoology
*chemistry

plus point for choosing=you will be in touch with the subject and you need to focus on other concepts and topics are those which you have already studies..right

and even you can even choose

*statistic
*animal husbandry and veterinary science
*geology
*sociology
*law and commerce etc.

in case of any exam,you would go for the question which you know right.then why not in this case

Yes,definitely you can choose graduation subjects as optional subjects for IFS exam. As you Said in your B.Sc you have subjects like Botany, Chemistry and Zoology. And if you consider my advice than you must choose Botany and Zoology as your optional subjects for IFS Mains exam.


Eligibility Criteria for IFS Exam:

>>you must hold a Bachelor�s degree with at least one of the subjects Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology,Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from recognized college or university.

>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Important dates related to IFS exam in 2013:

For IFS(Prelims)-2013
Date of notification:05/03/2013
Last date of receipt of application:04/04/2013
Date of exam :26/05/2013
For IFS(Mains)-2013
Date of main exam:03/10/2013.
