In UPSC Mains Exam there are four papers from PAPER-II to PAPER-V conducted of General Studies and Syllabus of these subjects is listed below.

PAPER-II
General Studies- I: Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society.

let me tell cleart from where you have to start for general studies.
1) first collect all ncert books of 6th to 12th and go through all subjects under science and social science.
2) then get atlas and memorise all countries and their capital. also main rivers, mounts etc lik geographical features of that country.
3) know well about your state and country
4) details about constitutional arrangements and type of rule i.e. like democratic or dictatorship in each country.
5) also know the names of parliment , governing bodies , flag symbol etc
6) go through news paper well
