Preliminary Examination : Two papers in objective type pattern and contains 200 marks each
Paper I - General Studies : It covers following topics :

* General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-Diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization

Paper II - CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test : It contains following topics

* Decision Making and Problem Solving
