Eligibility criteria for IAS exams is:
1.Graduation or engineering from a college under a recognized university.
2.Final year appearing students can also apply for the upsc exam.
3.Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
4.OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.

Selection procedure for IAS:-

To be an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Examination which is further consist two parts namely:

1.Preliminary Examination
2.Main Examination
after this applicant has to go through an interview

Dear Aspirant,
-If you want to relish your dreams of becoming an IAS,you will have to qualify the CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS conducted by the UPSC.
--The Civil Service exams are

exams are conducted in three
legs,namely-

:: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
-You must be a citizen of
India,

-You must be 21 to 30 years of age.
Relaxations-5 years for SC/ST and ex-

IAS is a CIVIL SERVICES EXAM conducted by UPSC every year.

Eligibility:
-You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.
-You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year.
-UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.
-Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 23 years.
-You must be a citizen of India.

Civil Service Examination has three stages

1st Stage: Preliminary Exam

2nd Stage: Main Examination

3rd(Final Stage): Interview

The complete selection procedure which you have to undergo to become an IAS Officer is by

-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
-Civil Services Main Examination
-Interview.

Here is the eligibility criteria that you need to possess to become eligible for CSAT Exam.

Academic Qualification :-
-One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
-Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible to take up this exam.

Age criteria :-
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam.
-There is a relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.

IAS stands for indian administrative service this examination is conducted by union public service commission for every year.

Eligibility criteria for IAS:

>> The candidate should be graduate from recognized university

Hello Friend!

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. To become IAS, you need to crack Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC once in a year.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for IAS:

• You should have completed Graduation degree in any discipline from recognized University.

• You can also apply for IAS while in final year of Graduation course.

• Your Age should be in between 21 to 33 years for General category, 21 to 35 for OBC, 21 to 35 for SC/ST.

• You must be an Indian citizen.

21 to 30 as on 01/07/2012(Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST,OBC,and other categories.i.e maximum 5 to 10 years for them. )

********Educational Qualification***********

Must have a Bachelors degree from any recognized university or organization with atleast one of the subject namely animal husbandry and veterinary science ,Botany,chemistry,zoology,geology,mathematics,physics,or a bachelors degree of agriculture ,forestry or in engineering,or an equivalent qualification.
