Dear Aspirant

You need not to worry for your recruitment in UPSC examinations if you qualify in the examination you will get the desired jobs.It is all depends upon your rank obtained by you and your choice for services except there is few restrictions in defence services but in other examination conducted by UPSC girls have equal importance.

Why I am saying this to you because UPSC in its notification of civil service examination clearly mentioned "Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply." So you may understand the importance given to female candidates.Besides these from last years women have perform better in the examination

See as you have not mentioned which particular exams you are really interested to give as UPSC coducts various examination whether it is Engineering Services Examination,Civil Servcices Examiantion or IES/ISS.So you may visit UPSC official websites (www.upsc.gov.in).In the date of examination section you can see the list of examination and depending upon the field you want to get you see the notification of that exams in Employment News in the dates mentioned.If you have again doubt then you may clear your query here also in our UPSC Disscussions.

Friend , there are equal chances for male & female both in UPSC. There are 25 exams conducted by UPSC in which girls can participate.

Well girl have equall oppurtunity in UPSC exams except NDA (National Defence Academy) which is only meant for unmarried male candidates.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Comission.

They conduct many civil service exams for all these exams the eligible criteria for both male and female are same,there is no discrimination.

Age criteria for Civil Service Exam:-

Age criteria for Civil service exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is there as per govt rule .

No of attempts for Civil Service Exam:-

4 attempts for General category candidates
7 attempts for OBC category candidates
Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates.

Girls are always doing good in UPSC recruitments they get the equel opportunity comparing with male candidates there is no difference in respect of norms /eligibility except UPSC NDA entrance exam,here they are restricted to attend the said exam.

Girls can apply for UPSC exams, are:-

1.IAS

2.IPS.

3.IRS.

4.IES.

5.SCRA.

6.CDS.

Education: Graduate from the recognized University(Except SCRA entrance exam.)

Age: General: 21-30 years, relaxations for obc: 3 years, s/c S/T: 5 years, PWD: 10 years.(Except SCRA AND CDS)

Nationality: Indian/ male/female both can apply.

Attempts: General: 4 attempts, OBC: 7 attempts, S/C S/T: No limit.

So for girls there are huge opportunities to apply for UPSC entrance exams.

Eligibility for UPSC exam:-

1-The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for this exam is a bachelor degree in any stream.

2-The minimum eligible age for general candidate is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

Relaxation of age for candidate belonging to OBC category is 3 years and for candidate belonging to SC/ST category is 5 years.

Friend, there is same recruitment process for both male and female in the UPSC Examination. There is no any gender based preference i.e. there is no any special priviledges for women candidate in UPSC Examination. Women candidates are provided with benefit of exemption of examination fees. Moreover, there is slight difference in required physical fitness standard for male and female candidate for IPS Examination. Rest eligibility criteria is same for both male and female candidates.

if you want to fill the form of examination and sit in the examination then youhave to be active in the month of January and February.

because in these months the notification releases by upsc for the same .

Dear friend

Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee in UPSC exams.
Eligibility conditions such as age limit,educational qualification,number of attempts etc are same for both male and female candidates.

Female candidates are eligible for all main exams like IES,IFS,Civil Services Exam,SCRA,Geologists exam,Engineering Services Exam etc.

But female candidates are not eligible for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.This exam is conducted for admission to the navy,army,air force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy course.
Some limitations are also in Combined Defence Service Examination and Central Armed Police Force Examination.

In Combined Defence Service Examination women candidates are eligible for Officers Training Academy only,they should give OTA as their only preference.

In Central Armed Police Force Examination female candidates are eligible for CRPF,CISF and BSF but not for ITBP.

Girls are eligible for SCRA , CDS , IES , Civil Services Exam.
These all exams is conducts by Union Public Service Commission .Every exam has different - different requirements.

For SCRA :

>> Candidate must be passed 12th and also can apply in 12th.

>> Candidate must be under 17-21 years.

>> Male/Female both are eligible.

>> Candidate must be physically good.

>> Candidate must be citizen of India.

For CDS :

>> candidate must be passed graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

>> Candidate must be under 19-25 years.

>> Candidate must be citizen of India.

>> Male/Female both are eligible.

For IES :

>> candidate must be passed his/her graduation in engineering and also can apply in last year of graduation.

>> Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

>> Candidate must be citizen of India.

For Civil Services Exam :
