Friend, it is sorry to say that with the height of 164 cm you will not be eligible for IPS Officer. If you belong to General category, then your height is little bit shorter than the required height of 165 cm.

This exam conducted on UPSC EXams. scary year conduct this exam.
Maximum male candidate height are 164 cm. you are definitely eligible on IPS Exam.
This exam on 3 stages.

Dear Friend,

IPS stands for Indian Police Services, comes under civil services , civil services exam is conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

Educational Requirements :-

Candidate should be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in the last year of graduation.

Height Required :-

Male : GEN/BC/SC :- 165 cm
ST :- 162.5 cm

Female : GEN/BC/SC :- 155 cm
ST :- 154 cm

Name of the Exam : Civil Services Exams
Conducted by : UPSC Once in a year

Age : 21yrs to 30yrs for General Candidates

Age Relaxations : 3yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST Candidates

Educational Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from any recognised university in India.

Never mentioned nay cut off percentage for the exam

Maximum Number of Attempts : 4 for General , 7 for OBC and As many they can for SC/ST candidates

For IPS : Physical Height should be 165cms.

Exam Pattern : 3 stages
1. PT
2. Mains
3. Interview

Yes, you can apply for the IPS exam.
there is no limition about the height .
but there is limition if you are under 5.5 foot.
It is min. height for applying for this exam.

Dear Aspirant!

Minimum height for Men - 165 cms
For Women - 150 cms.

The requirement of height is equal as General,SC/ST and OBC categories.

### If you are women then your Height is suitable but only in the case of Men aspirants some difficult during height.
But do not get worried and focus on the Score of Written test because if you are having good score in ritten test then you may selected.
There is only one(1) cm gap which is required.

Prepare for IPS exam.

Hi,

According to the physical eligibility criteria,the male candidate should be 165cm and female candidate should be 150cm for general category candidates. In the case of candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC the height required is 160cm for male and 145cm for female.

So you qualify for the exam only if you belong to SC/ST/OBC category!
