Hi,

According to the physical eligibility criteria,the male candidate should be 165cm and female candidate should be 150cm for general category candidates. In the case of candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC the height required is 160cm for male and 145cm for female.

So you qualify for the exam only if you belong to SC/ST/OBC category!

Minimum height for Men - 165 cms
For Women - 150 cms.

The requirement of height is equal as General,SC/ST and OBC categories.

### If you are women then your Height is suitable but only in the case of Men aspirants some difficult during height.
But do not get worried and focus on the Score of Written test because if you are having good score in ritten test then you may selected.
There is only one(1) cm gap which is required.

Yes, you can apply for the IPS exam.
there is no limition about the height .
but there is limition if you are under 5.5 foot.
It is min. height for applying for this exam.

Friend, it is sorry to say that with the height of 164 cm you will not be eligible for IPS Officer. If you belong to General category, then your height is little bit shorter than the required height of 165 cm.
