Academics: You need a bachelor degree and you can apply in your final year also...
Age limit: Minimum is 21(should be completed before 1st Aug)
Max 30 for OC, 33 for MBC, 35 for SC/ST and ex-army

You must have a minimum of GRADUATION from a recognized university ..

And the minimum age must be 21 years


You must have secured a minimum of 60% in your Academics

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

1.Educational Qualifications:
Degree of a Recognized University.
Appearing Final year of requisite Degree educational qualification also eligible.

2.Age limits and Attempts:
General - 21 to 30 years with 4 attempts
OBC - 21 to 33 years with 7 attempts.
SC/ST - 21 to 35 years with no attempts.

### As you mentioned that your age is 21 years so, you are eligible to apply for IAS examination but there is a fixed limited attempts so, prepare hard then only apply.

>>> Examination pattern:
1.Preliminary Examination (objective type) 2 papers with 200 marks each
2.Mains examination.

-Paper I : Examination based on one 18 Indian Languages -300 marks
-Paper II: English (Qualifying paper) - 300 marks
-Paper III:Essay - 200 marks
-Paper IV and V: General Studies -600 marks
-paper VI,VII,VIII and IX :Any two optional subjects (each subject has two papers) - 1200 marks

3.Interview - 300 marks.

Dear friend IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

IAS exam is conducted under Civil Service Examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) in every year.

The Eligibility criteria for IAS Exam is:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years and SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

Number of Attempts:-

General category candidates - 4 time

OBC category Candidates - 7 time

SC/ST category candidates - No limit.
